A top Russian oil executive has been found dead outside his Moscow apartment in what officials are calling an apparent suicide from a 17th-floor window.
Strangely, he lived on the 10th floor but somehow fell from seven stories above his own residence.

Rusland voert grote oefening uit met 150 schepen, 15.000 militairen en 120 vliegtuigen over hele wereld
Rusland is woensdag begonnen met grootschalige marine-oefeningen waarbij meer dan 150 schepen en 15.000 militairen betrokken zijn. Volgens het Russische ministerie van Defensie is het hoofddoel van de operatie ‘de paraatheid’ van de marine te testen.

Tsunami zet Russische havenstad onder water, Hawaï zet zich schrap voor golven
Een tsunami heeft woensdag de Russische havenplaats Severo-Kurilsk onder water gezet. De vloedgolf ontstond door een aardbeving met een kracht van 8.7 bij het oostelijke schiereiland Kamtsjatka. De hoge golven hebben ook Japan bereikt en op Hawaï zijn evacuaties gaande.
