Track resignations

Rep. Jerry Nadler has announced he will retire next year, choosing not to run for another term in Congress.

For more than thirty years, he has been a liberal voice on Capitol Hill.

Nadler has warned that President Trump poses a grave threat to the very foundations of American democracy.

AXIOS: Former Treasury Secretary and Harvard professor Larry Summers announced Monday he is stepping back from public commitments amid bipartisan backlash over newly released emails detailing his ties to Jeffrey Epstein.

In a statement, Summers expressed deep shame: “I am deeply ashamed of my actions and recognize the pain they have caused. I take full responsibility for my misguided decision to continue communicating with Mr. Epstein. While continuing to fulfill my teaching obligations, I will be stepping back from public commitments as one part of my broader effort to rebuild trust and repair relationships with the people closest to me.”

The disclosures include Epstein referring to himself as Summers’ “wing man” and Summers seeking his advice on pursuing a female mentee. Organizations like OpenAI, Bloomberg, and the Center for American Progress are reviewing ties; Harvard has not commented.

ANOTHER ONE BITES THE DUST: FRANCE'S FORMER CULTURE MINISTER RESIGNS OVER EPSTEIN TIES

Jack Lang, France's former Culture Minister, resigned after his name appeared over 600 times in the Epstein files.

He and his daughter are now under investigation for "aggravated tax fraud laundering" tied to offshore dealings with Epstein.

He's "deeply hurt" to leave his position, but resigning doesn't make the crimes go away now, does it?

President Trump’s top counterterrorism official, Joe Kent, has resigned over the Iran war.

He alleges that high-ranking Israeli officials carried out a massive misinformation campaign against President Trump to draw the United States into conflict.

He says this is the same thing Israel did to get the United States into war with Iraq.

"I cannot in good conscience support the ongoing war in Iran. Iran poses no threat to our nation."
