For those who want to know what is happening in Gaza:

These images that emerged from Gaza show the remains of an iron bed, crushed and folded in on itself by the force of a bombing that completely destroyed the family’s home. A child had been sleeping on that bed.

Among the twisted wreckage, a milk bottle was found.

After nearly three years buried beneath the rubble, the remains of the child and their family were finally recovered yesterday.

Protesters just shut down a Tel Aviv University event featuring Israel’s far-right National Security Minister and convicted terrorist Itamar Ben-Gvir.

Students from Standing Together (Omdim Beyachad) chanted “There will be no fascism here,” staged a sit-in, and scuffled with security until Ben-Gvir was escorted out. This is the same minister linked to Kahanist ideology, settler violence, and the policies driving the ongoing genocide in Gaza and ethnic cleansing in the West Bank.

When even Israeli students refuse to give a platform to the politician overseeing mass civilian death, collective punishment, and the expansion of occupation, it shows the political project is cracking from the inside. No normalcy for those enabling apartheid and genocide.

Solidarity with everyone resisting—from the campuses of Tel Aviv to the streets of Gaza and the West Bank. There will be no fascism anywhere. Free Palestine.

Her real name is Saida Abu Odeh. She has been my mother's friend since their school days. They went through every stage of school together, from elementary to middle and high school. 💔

Israel killed all seven of her children and her husband. Saida happened to be away from home, going to the market. If she had not been there, she might have suffered the same fate as them.

Saida had been displaced, living in a classroom at a UNRWA school that had been turned into a shelter. When she returned, she was devastated to discover that her entire family had been killed. All seven of her children and her husband were gone. Oh, God, what kind of pain can a mother's heart endure after losing her seven children and her husband all at once? 😭💔

As for my mother, she broke down when she learned what had happened to her lifelong friend. She could not bear the shock. She cried with such deep pain that her eyes seemed to wither from shedding so many tears. How can someone face the reality that her childhood friend, the person with whom she shared years of school and some of the most precious memories of her life, has lost her entire family in such a heartbreaking way? 😭💔

Why must we endure so much pain in Gaza? Why are we forced to lose our loved ones in such horrific ways? What kind of life are we living, when our homes become memories, our families become names we weep over, and simply staying alive becomes a source of pain?

Oh, God, how many broken hearts are there in Gaza? How many mothers are enduring pain that words cannot describe? How many families have been wiped out? How many mothers have been left alone, carrying nothing but memories and tears, wondering how they can go on living after losing everything?

Gaza is not just numbers and headlines. It is mothers whose hearts have been shattered, children deprived of their families, lifelong friendships marked by tragedy, and hearts that will never be the same again. 😭💔

“I’m the man of the house.” A little boy in Gaza explains to his father why he shouted at his mother that morning: he saw her carrying water again. Her hand is broken, he says, from carrying his baby brother and lugging heavy water containers day after day, and whenever the water arrives, he yells at her to stop so he can carry it himself. In Gaza, where the Israeli occupation destroyed water networks and wells and families queue at distribution points to fill whatever containers they have, hauling water is part of every day. It falls on mothers, on fathers, and on children far too small for it. This one has decided his mother has carried enough. “May God bless you this morning, son,” his father tells him. “There will be no real men left after you.

Last night, Israeli police detained a Palestinian bride in Al-Ramla, central occupied Palestine, and took her to a police station shortly before her church wedding ceremony, reportedly after fireworks were set off outside the church.

According to political activist Ghassan Munir, the detention disrupted the wedding for around an hour as relatives and community figures went to the station to demand her release.

He described the detention as an act of pressure on the Palestinian Arab community and an intrusion into its daily life and celebrations.
