BREAKING | Three-year-old Maryam Ahmed Ghanem was asleep when an Israeli occupation strike hit her family’s apartment near the Abu Talal junction in Al-Rimal, west Gaza City, at around 4am on Wednesday. Journalist Ali Al-Jaafarawi ran to the building after hearing the blast. When he climbed up to the burning apartment, the first thing he found was Maryam, crying in the middle of the flames, with the fire and smoke too thick for anyone to reach her. He went in anyway, carried her out and handed her to people waiting to rush her to hospital. When he went back inside to look for others, the smoke overwhelmed him and he lost consciousness, but not before he saw a woman burning inside the apartment

.That woman was Maryam’s mother, in her thirties, killed in the strike. Her father was killed at the start of the genocide. Maryam survived the fire, and she is now an orphan. Others in the apartment, including children, were wounded, and civil defence crews struggled to evacuate them, all of it a year into a ceasefire that was supposed to stop exactly this.

🇵🇸 Dr. Marwan al-Hams, director of Gaza's field hospitals, suffered fractures after being restrained and beaten in front of Israeli National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir at Ganot prison on Oct. 7, according to Gaza's Health Ministry and the Prisoners' Media Office.

The ministry said al-Hams was restrained, dragged and severely beaten under Ben Gvir's "direct supervision," leaving him with fractures and acute back pain. The Prisoners' Media Office called it the "harshest treatment recorded against Gaza detainees" and said he needs urgent medical care.

Al-Hams, also a Health Ministry spokesperson, was seized by armed men in civilian clothes in al-Mawasi on July 21, 2025, according to the Palestinian Centre for Human Rights. He was shot in the leg and taken. Photojournalist Tamer al-Za'anin, who was filming him for a documentary, was killed in the attack.
Israel has not commented.

Right now, tanks and military vehicles are advancing in eastern Gaza City under extremely heavy air cover, with gunfire everywhere.

I’m talking to my friend at this very moment, and I can barely hear his voice because of the intense gunfire around him. It seems that more areas will be seized from us tonight, and we have no idea what awaits us in the coming hours.

Talk about Gaza and what is happening here. Share what you see. don’t stop. The situation is literally spiraling out of control.

Her little daughters reportedly WATCHED THEIR MOTHER BURN TO DEATH. ONE OF THEM HAD ALREADY LOST HER LEG IN A PREVIOUS ISRAELI BOMBING.

Ten Israeli soldiers have described committing war crimes during Israel’s genocide in Gaza, in testimonies published over the weekend by German magazine Der Spiegel.

The soldiers recounted killing unarmed Palestinians, destroying neighbourhoods to prevent civilians from returning, and recording the dead as “terrorists”. David, an infantry reservist who served several deployments in central Gaza and Khan Younis, said: “My unit killed many unarmed men.”

After my children were sleeping safely, they woke up to the sounds of explosions and heavy gunfire very close to our area in Deir al-Balah..
The fear and terror tearing through their hearts and ours cannot be described.

Oh Lord, grant us Your safety, mercy, and protection for our children and all the innocent. 💔🇵🇸

A Palestinian Woman’s C-Section Surrounded by Armed Israeli Soldiers

‘The 35-year-old from the West Bank city of Nablus was newly married and had just spent her first night in an Israeli prison. Israeli forces had arrested her without charges and put her under administrative detention, an arbitrary condition for holding Palestinians hostage. She lost consciousness in front of Israeli soldiers at Sharon Prison, a temporary detention facility in the city of Netanya, and they took her to a hospital blindfolded. There, with her hands and feet bound in chains, she was given a pregnancy test that came back positive.'
'Joudeh’s pregnancy unfolded against a broader surge in Israeli arrests and violence across the occupied Palestinian territories. As of September, Israel was holding roughly 9,350 Palestinian prisoners and detainees, including 90 women and more than 350 children, according to Palestinian prisoners’ organizations. More than 3,100 of them are being held under administrative detention, without charge or trial.'
'.. “The terrorist has arrived,” she remembered him saying about the fragile newborn..'’

"The beating amounted to attempted murder"

Palestinian farmer Musa Faleh and his son were brutally attacked by Israeli settlers while harvesting olives in Beita, south of Nablus, in the occupied West Bank.

Armed with iron bars and sticks, the settlers sprayed them with pepper spray before beating them so severely that Musa suffered multiple head wounds requiring more than 30 stitches, while his son sustained injuries to his neck, legs, chest, head and back.

Musa’s brother, Mohammad Faleh, described the assault as an attempted murder.

Saleh used to cry as he reported the news, documenting scenes of bodies and wounded people under bombardment, carrying the pain and screams of the people to the world, hoping someone would listen and see what was happening in Gaza.

But the occupation killed Saleh, and the war has still not ended. The bombardment continues, blood continues to be shed, and journalists continue to pay with their lives for telling the truth.

Saleh is gone, but the tragedy he reported has not ended, and the war whose horrors he documented continues to claim more lives.

Gaza's Ministry of Social Development has warned that nearly 300,000 displaced Palestinian families face the threat of flooding and worsening humanitarian conditions as winter approaches.

According to the ministry, 90% of displacement tents are worn out and unfit for shelter, while 85% of housing units have been damaged or destroyed by Israel's war on Gaza.

With only 34% of the required shelter funding secured and emergency tent supplies exhausted, the ministry warned that continued Israeli restrictions on shelter materials could leave hundreds of thousands exposed to heavy rain, freezing temperatures and further displacement.

It called for the urgent entry of 200,000 weather-resistant tents and 300,000 emergency shelter kits.

❗️Israeli occupation forces using social media surveillance unit to target hundreds of Palestinians in the West Bank

Israeli occupation forces have established a special unit to monitor Palestinian social media activity and use posts classified as "incitement" to initiate arrests and military raids across the occupied West Bank, Israel's Channel 12 reports.

The unit, established after 7 October 2023, reportedly operates under the military's Central Command in coordination with Israeli police and border forces, passing information gathered online to field units for enforcement operations.

According to the Palestine Information Center, Israeli occupation forces have detained more than 600 Palestinians over social media content, including 215 since the beginning of 2026, while carrying out more than 1,000 raids, interrogations and summonses. During the current week, occupation forces also raided around 70 sites and removed approximately 30 signs, symbols and statues.

The campaign extends beyond online expression, with Israeli occupation authorities also shutting down more than 24 charitable organizations and 40 currency exchange shops, seizing funds and closing printing presses over allegations of links to what they describe as "terrorism" or "incitement."

Yesterday, Israeli occupation forces stormed Palestinian non-governmental organisations in central Ramallah, in the occupied West Bank, injuring at least three Palestinians, including a 14-year-old who was shot.

The raids targeted two Palestinian organisations, including Addameer Prisoner Support and Human Rights Association, with Israeli forces confiscating equipment and furniture and assaulting journalists covering the operation.

Al Jazeera's Nida Ibrahim reports from Ramallah.

The Bank of Palestine branch in Deir al-Balah, located on the western side of Salah al-Din Street, has become dangerous. Bullets are coming from inside. It closed its doors after a security guard was wounded inside.

This means that Salah al-Din Street, from Rafah to Deir al-Balah, has become a deadly passage. The yellow line has crept westward, and the death traps have grown taller, targeting civilians with stray bullets that reach inside their tents.

The situation here has become increasingly dire and frightening.
