“I can’t speak. My heart feels tight,” says Hajjah Umm Radwan, 79, after Israeli colonial terrorists set their dogs on her as she harvested olives with her family on their land in Bireen, east of Hebron, on Friday. The attackers came from a newly established colonial outpost built on Palestinian land in the Khallet Al-Furn area, and one of the dogs sank its teeth into her upper thigh, tearing through flesh and blood vessels. Witnesses say the colonists then tried to stop her family from taking her for treatment, before Palestine Red Crescent crews reached her and moved her to hospital with moderate injuries. Her injury was one of 19 colonial attacks recorded across the occupied West Bank by midday Friday, according to the Colonization and Wall Resistance Commission, as Israeli colonists burn trees, steal crops and assault families trying to reach their olive groves this harvest season.
