JUST IN:An Israeli settler buried her Holocaust-survivor mother in the backyard to keep receiving her $4,700 monthly benefits.
Police said she and her partner, who later died by suicide in custody, first hid the body in an ice-cream freezer before burying it.

Doctors and paramedics, journalists and civil defense, children, women, men and the elderly, and even animals—all lived through the fire, yet all carried hope.
Amid the darkness, Gaza remained vibrant and refused to give up.

عامان من الخوف والدمار،
من صرخات تحت الركام، ومن قلوب لا تنام.
أطباء ومسعفون، صحافيون ودفاع مدني، أطفال، نساء ، رجال وشيوخ ، وحتى الحيوانات كلّهم عاشوا النار، وكلّهم حملوا الأمل.
