️Hamas Statement - The occupation commits another massacre against journalists: Five martyred in a coordinated strike targeting the voice of truth in Gaza.The fascist occupation army has committed yet another crime against Palestinian journalists as part of its ongoing campaign of persecution and killings in the Gaza Strip. In a deliberate, simultaneous strike, five journalists were targeted and killed:
➤ Journalist Aziz Al-Hajjar
➤ Journalist Nour Qandil
➤ Journalist Abdul Rahman Al-Abadleh
➤ Journalist Khaled Abu Seif
➤ Journalist Ahmad Al-Zeinati
Their homes and tents were bombed at dawn, leading to their deaths along with their children and families—an atrocity that reflects the brutality of this fascist entity.
The continued targeting of journalists, who are protected under international law, sends a clear message of contempt from the fascist occupation government to the world, the international community, and its institutions and laws.
It is outrageous that the world remains unable to stop unprecedented war crimes being committed live for months against innocent civilians—including the systematic targeting of journalists, punished simply for fulfilling their professional and ethical duty. So far, 220 journalists have been martyred.
We call on international media organizations and journalists around the world to stand in solidarity with their colleagues in Gaza, carry their message to the world, expose the occupation’s crimes and efforts to erase the truth, and work to thwart its continued assault on Palestinian journalists.
