NEW: Netanyahu Acknowledges Goal of Gaza Assault Is Forced Removal: “They Have Nowhere to Return To”
Israeli outlet Maariv reports Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu told lawmakers Sunday that Israel’s war on Gaza is intended to render large parts of the territory uninhabitable, forcing Palestinians to flee. Al-Qassam Brigades have just released the Zionist soldier holding American citizenship, Idan Alexander, following communications with the U.S. administration and as part of the efforts made by mediators to secure a ceasefire, reopen border crossings, and deliver aid and relief to our people in the Gaza Strip.
