As part of the efforts being made by the brotherly mediators to achieve a ceasefire, the Hamas movement has held discussions with the U.S. administration in recent days. The movement expressed a high level of positivity and will release the Israeli soldier with dual American-Israeli citizenship, Idan Alexander, as part of the steps being taken toward a ceasefire, the reopening of crossings, and the entry of aid and relief to our people in the Gaza Strip.

The movement affirms its readiness to immediately begin intensive negotiations and to make serious efforts to reach a final agreement to end the war, agree on a prisoner exchange, and manage the Gaza Strip through an independent, professional body that ensures the continuation of calm and stability for many years—alongside reconstruction and lifting the blockade.

Hamas values the tireless efforts made by the brotherly mediators in the State of Qatar and the Arab Republic of Egypt, as well as our brothers in Turkey, throughout the past phase.
