️Hamas statement:
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
We congratulate our people and our nation on the arrival of the blessed month of Ramadan and call for its days and nights to be a field for greater steadfastness, perseverance, and solidarity. Let this month be filled with our nation’s support and victory for Gaza and Palestine.
The Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) extends its warmest congratulations on the arrival of the blessed month of Ramadan to the masses of our great people inside Palestine and abroad, to the heroic resistance fighters, to our free male and female prisoners who have gained their freedom in the “Flood of the Free” exchange deal, to all steadfast prisoners defying their zionist jailers, to our noble wounded, and to our great families of martyrs, wounded, and prisoners, as well as to the masses of our Arab and Islamic nation.
We ask Allah Almighty to make this blessed month return to our people and our nation with more unity, cohesion, mutual support, and solidarity, and to make its blessed days and nights filled with its noble values—holding onto principles, sacrifice, patience, perseverance, and defending the land and sanctities, with Al-Quds and Al-Aqsa Mosque at their heart.
Let this blessed month be one in which our Arab and Islamic nation draws inspiration from the meanings of victory, solidarity, kindness, compassion, and healing the wounds of our people in Gaza. Let it embody the spirit of one body—if one part complains, the rest of the body responds with fever and sleeplessness—in light of the continued absence of all basic humanitarian necessities in Gaza.
The blessed month of Ramadan is an opportunity for our nation—leaders, peoples, organizations, scholars, charities, and humanitarian bodies—to take serious and effective action in all fields to support the steadfastness of our people in Gaza and those stationed in Al-Quds and Al-Aqsa Mosque. It is a chance to thwart all attempts by the occupation and its supporters to carry out their plans to kill, starve, and displace our people, erase the landmarks of their land and sanctities, and obscure their national cause of liberation and return.
We call upon the masses of our people across the West Bank, Al-Quds, and the occupied interior to mobilize all their energies during this blessed month by journeying to Al-Aqsa Mosque, remaining stationed there, and performing i’tikaf. Let the days and nights of Ramadan be filled with obedience, perseverance, and resistance against the enemy and its settler herds, defending and protecting Al-Quds and Al-Aqsa until they are liberated from the filth of the occupation.
We also call on our people everywhere around the world to engage actively during Ramadan in the widest solidarity initiatives and activities with their brothers and sisters in Gaza, the West Bank, and occupied Al-Quds—to share in their pain and hopes, and to participate in their sacrifices as one unified heart, collectively looking forward to the liberation of our land and return to it.
May Allah accept your fasting, prayers, jihad, perseverance, patience, and sacrifices. May He guide your steps, make you steadfast, and strengthen your hearts as you represent the entire nation in defending the blessed land of Gaza, Al-Quds, Al-Aqsa, and Palestine.
Mercy, glory, and immortality to the convoys of martyrs in the heroic “Al-Aqsa Flood” battle. Speedy recovery to the wounded, and imminent, comprehensive freedom to all our prisoners in the enemy’s prisons. A blessed Ramadan to our great people, adorned with steadfastness, perseverance, and resistance, crowned with the imminent, manifest victory by Allah’s will.
Indeed, it is a jihad of victory or martyrdom.
