Journalist Hatem Omar, wounded in the Nasser Medical Complex massacre, described how Israeli forces repeatedly struck the hospital staircase where journalists and rescuers had gathered.

The attack killed Hussam al-Masri, Mariam Abu Dagga, Mohammed Salama, Moaz Abu Taha, Ahmed Abu Aziz, and civil defense worker Imad al-Shaer, while injuring six others.

Omar, with 25 years of experience, said nothing prepared him for seeing journalists and rescuers deliberately targeted.
