⚡️BREAKING: Press statement by Gaza Freedom Flotilla:

"We have just received confirmation that all 12 volunteers from the ‘Madleen’ are currently at Ashdod Port. They are being processed and transferred into the custody of Israeli authorities. They are expected to be moved to the Ramleh detention facility unless they agree to leave immediately, in which case they may be permitted to fly out of Tel Aviv as early as tonight. We continue to demand the immediate release of all volunteers and the return of the stolen aid. Their detention is unlawful and a violation of international law."

⚡️BREAKING: Israeli Minister of Defense Katz continues to smear the flotilla activists as he claims they refused to watch October 7th footage:

“Greta Thunberg and her flotilla companions were taken to a room upon their arrival for a screening of the horror film of the October 7 massacre, and when they saw what it was about, they refused to continue watching….The anti‑Semitic flotilla members are turning a blind eye to the truth and have proven once again that they prefer the murderers to the murdered and continue to ignore the atrocities committed by Hamxs against Jewish and Israeli women, adults, and children.”

⚡️BREAKING: iNGO takes advantage of the situation in Gaza:

According to sources in Gaza, Rahma Worldwide, an American international nonprofit, is reportedly selling aid parcels to merchants in Gaza for $115, who then resell them to civilians at prices reaching $250. The organization operates on a cash-only basis.

[For the safety of the individuals who reached out, I posted images from the original footage showing what they’re doing.]

This system appears to serve two objectives that align with broader Israeli policies in the region:

1. It forces Palestinians in Gaza to pay exorbitant prices for essential goods, especially as most international aid organizations refuse to cooperate with such distribution models or subsidize their logistics, due to ethical concerns.

2. It contributes to the depletion of limited cash resources in Gaza, thereby intensifying economic hardship and restricting access to basic necessities.

This approach reflects a broader pattern of actions that many view as systematic efforts to degrade the living conditions of Palestinians in Gaza, actions that push the boundaries of humanitarian and legal norms.

🚨 Government Media Office:

We Reject “israeli” Incitement and Allegations Targeting the Civil Defense and Its Official Spokesperson — We Warn of Their Intentions

We are following with deep concern the recent incitement campaign launched by the “israeli” occupation army, which uses its propaganda tools and black media to distort our humanitarian image and discredit the noble mission we are committed to conveying to the international humanitarian community.

The “israeli” army has launched a systematic media campaign aimed at discrediting our independent service institution and undermining our noble message. We have received multiple reports from international news agencies, media outlets, and journalists stating that they were sent emails from the “israeli” army urging them to reject the media narrative issued by the official spokesperson of the Civil Defense. These emails falsely accuse the spokesperson of working for a non-independent and non-humanitarian organization and allege that he was affiliated with Hamas in 2005.

We affirm the following:

1. The Civil Defense in Gaza is a purely humanitarian service body. It is committed to remaining politically and organizationally neutral — a principle we have always communicated clearly to international organizations that engage with our humanitarian work.

2. We strongly warn against the “israeli” army’s efforts to drag our institution and its official spokesperson into an orchestrated smear campaign — a very serious development whose consequences we deeply fear.

3. Our spokesperson, Mahmoud Basal, has been part of our humanitarian institution since 2008. He carries out his role with the utmost professionalism. His duty is clear: to convey our humanitarian message and to shed light on the suffering and injustices inflicted upon our people due to the occupation’s aggression and blockade.

4. The “israeli” army’s organized incitement against our humanitarian body seeks to obscure the truth, silence witnesses, and cover up its ongoing atrocities against our people in the Gaza Strip — as well as its continuous violations of international humanitarian law.

5. We call on the International Civil Defense Organization, all human rights institutions, and advocates for press freedom to act urgently before it is too late. We urge them not to fall for “israeli” black propaganda or its inciting media tactics. We do not serve any partisan or “terrorist” agenda. Our message is clear: to deliver humanitarian services to those facing a genocide that has continued for months.

⚡️BREAKING: Adalah Center Update (June 9, 10 PM, Jerusalem time):

All detained volunteers from the Madleen Freedom Flotilla are being held at Ashdod Port and are currently undergoing processing. They will be handed to immigration authorities. Those who refuse immediate deportation will be sent to the Ramleh detention facility.

Authorities say volunteers who agree to deportation might fly out from Tel Aviv tonight, but the terms, such as signing documents or waiving rights, are unclear.

Adalah is demanding access to the volunteers before any transfer or deportation takes place.

Palestinians are being killed daily while trying to get food for their starving families after over four months of severe blockade. Since U.S. mercenary-run Israeli backed GHF centers began operating in Gaza, 130 people have been killed and hundreds injured by Israeli forces and their allies. The latest attack killed 14 people in Rafah this morning.

Video 2 is from the Netzarim point.

Palestinian artist Yazid Abu Jarad and local youth created a sand sculpture on Gaza City’s beach near the port where the solidarity ship Madleen was meant to arrive.

The artwork expressed support for the activists aboard the ship, which was intercepted by Israeli forces, and stood as a symbol of defiance against the siege and aggression.
