“We are waiting for Madleen.”Residents of the seaport displacement camp in Gaza City stand beneath the sun, watching the sea for the vessel carrying a message louder than any statement from world leaders.
For the people of Gaza, Madleen is the first true example of the world listening to their voice, and they hope it sets a precedent for how others can show meaningful support. The Madleen, part of the 2025 Freedom Flotilla, is carrying baby formula, medical supplies, desalination kits, and 12 international activists who refused to stay silent.
Among them are Greta Thunberg, German Yasemin Acar, French-Palestinian MEP Rima Hassan, and journalists, medics, and organizers from France, Brazil, Germany, Turkey, the Netherlands, and Spain. The Israeli occupation has vowed to stop the ship by force, but it continues its course.

The "israeli" occupation continues to commit horrific massacres against unarmed civilians under the guise of so-called "humanitarian aid centers," directly supervised by "israeli" forces and the United States. Today, Sunday, 13 civilians were martyred and 153 others injured to varying degrees after occupation forces and personnel from a U.S. security company opened fire on starving civilians gathered near two aid distribution points—one in eastern Rafah governorate and another near Wadi Gaza Bridge.
This raises the total toll since these centers began operating on 27 May 2025 to 125 martyrs, 736 wounded, and 9 missing—a repeated scene of deliberate killing under the false banner of humanitarian relief.
These centers, located in militarized zones fully controlled by the occupation and private American security firms, have become deadly traps luring starving crowds only to be targeted with live and explosive rounds. What is taking place is a full-fledged war crime and crime against humanity that meets the criteria of the 1948 Genocide Convention.
Accordingly, we affirm the following:
1. We strongly condemn these ongoing massacres against civilians and hold the "israeli" occupation and the U.S. administration fully responsible for the crime of using hunger as a weapon and killing civilians under the false pretense of "humanitarian aid."
2. We call on the United Nations, the Security Council, and international organizations to act immediately to stop these crimes, open official and recognized crossings for aid distribution through neutral UN agencies, and put an end to this criminal model overseen by "israel" and the United States.
3. We demand the formation of an independent and credible international investigative committee to document these grave violations and bring those responsible to international courts. We consider the international community’s silence to be a form of indirect complicity.
4. We once again categorically reject so-called "buffer zones" or "humanitarian corridors" imposed by the occupation, which have proven to be blatant death traps used to gather civilians before targeting and killing them.
5. The continued starvation and killing of civilians on a holiday meant to symbolize peace and mercy reveals the true face of the occupation and places humanity before a critical moral test. These systematic crimes, carried out with "israeli"-American knowledge and sponsorship, are a disgrace upon the so-called civilized world. Yet they will not erase our people’s right to life nor weaken their will for freedom and dignity.

BREAKING: Israel will take over [Kidnapp] the Madleen Freedom Flotilla using special navy seal.The pro-Palestinian flotilla carrying Greta Thunberg, Rima Hassan and other activists is expected to reach “Israeli territorial waters” [Palestine territorial waters] during the night.
Shayetet 13 (Israeli Navy SEALs) conducted training for a ‘non-violent takeover’ of the ship.
A senior security official said to Kan: “We will take control of the ship in a pleasant manner and deport them back abroad the same night.”

In 2005, Israel claimed it had withdrawn from Gaza and left it to Hamas, suggesting that Gaza could have developed into a place like Singapore.
We argued that this was a falsehood, as Israel continued to control Gaza’s land, sea, and air. They dictated what was allowed in and effectively kept the population confined in what amounted to a concentration camp.
Now, through their interception of Greta Thunberg’s Freedom Flotilla, they have effectively admitted that they do, in fact, maintain control over Gaza’s land, sea, and air.
They have acknowledged that the people of Gaza never truly had freedom from Israeli control.
