At Shurat Hadin’s “Rage Against the Hate” conference in New York, Melanie Phillips portrayed the Palestinian cause as a threat to the West and claimed it aims to Islamize Europe. She declared that “there is no such thing as Palestine” and “there is no such thing as the Palestinian people,” adding: “The Jews are the only people who have any entitlement to any of this land… And they are the only people who have an entitlement to all of it.”

This narrative erases the reality that Palestinians are fighting for survival under decades of occupation, dispossession, and apartheid. The real threat is not Palestinians, but the ongoing genocide, land theft, and systemic oppression carried out by the Israel.

The amount of people who are STILL trapped in the left/right paradigm is truly frightening and concerning for the future of our country.
