JUST IN: Amazon has been selling cloud and AI services to Israel which was used to destroy Gaza.Amazon has been selling cloud and AI services to Israeli weapons manufacturers Rafael Advanced Defense Systems and Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI) whose bombs and missiles have devastated Gaza.
Internal documents show Amazon Web Services has provided these firms with software and AI tools, including Anthropic’s Claude LLM, even as their weapons were used to kill civilians like the World Central Kitchen aid workers.
Through Project Nimbus, Amazon also supplies cloud infrastructure to Israel’s nuclear program and government offices administering the illegally occupied West Bank.
Despite claiming to uphold human rights principles, Amazon refused to comment or confirm whether it conducted any human rights assessment before enabling Israel’s war operations.
