

U.S. immigration authorities have released Mohsen Mahdawi, a Palestinian Columbia University student and green-card holder, after a federal judge in Vermont ruled his detention caused “great harm.”
Mahdawi was arrested by ICE on April 14 during his naturalization interview and faced deportation despite no criminal charges.
