As an American Jew, I unequivocally reject the notion this blowhard performance artist presents that we need to burn our constitution and ban free speech in order for me and other Jews to be safe.

BREAKING:The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) announced the arrest of a second student involved in pro-Palestinian protests at Columbia University.
ICE detained Leqaa Kordia, a Palestinian student from the West Bank, for overstaying her visa, alleging her participation in “pro-Hamas protests” at Columbia.
The Trump administration also revoked the visa of Ranjani Srinivasan, an Indian doctoral student, on March 5 allegedly for “supporting Hamas.” On March 11, Srinivasan chose to self-deport via the CBP Home App.
No evidence has been present for the claims made.
U.S Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem said:
“It is a privilege to be granted a visa to live & study in the United States of America.
When you advocate for violence and terrorism that privilege should be revoked and you should not be in this country.

The very point of a constitution is that it trumps everything. If Americans dislike it, pass a constitutional amendment.
Also, I’ve found no photos/footage of Khalil wearing a keffiyeh or speaking in support of armed resistance. If he has actively called for violence, I’d like to see it.
Here’s what I have seen Khalil say: “There is, of course, no place for antisemitism” and “As a Palestinian student, I believe that the liberation of the Palestinian people and the Jewish people are intertwined and go hand-by-hand and you cannot achieve one without the other.”
Moreover, why should I care if a green card holder is wearing a keffiyeh when we don’t if they’re waving an IDF flag?And even if he had been advocating armed resistance, why should I care what he advocates happening in a region halfway around the world? Of what relevance is that view, however wrong, to me as an American? And if I am supposed to care about it, why should I care about it more than all the Israelis here on visas and green cards who support indiscriminate bombings against civilians or the intentional restriction of food and water to civilians as a military tactic.
This isn’t just a thought experiment. This group, @Betar_USA, are the ones who apparently provided Khalil’s name to the Trump administration. Are we supposed to think that these people are better than Khalil?
