Trump Wants NEW Iran Strikes BEFORE Midterms to Lower Gas Prices

This explains Iran’s statements that the U.S. will Attack and they are ready to RESPOND. They already have a new bank of targets.

The White House has ordered the Pentagon and CENTCOM to prepare options for action before November 3, according to The Atlantic.

Officials say Trump wants to show progress and drive down gas prices before Americans vote, while Iran continues using its military and Strait of Hormuz leverage.

Now is the time for President Trump to declare victory over Iran & walk away, before Iran escalates the war.

President Trump has insinuated that we’ll likely resume strikes again, but only after the midterms. We would be fools to think that Iran will wait for us to hit them first.

Iran has the capability to strike our bases, our fleet, & Gulf energy infrastructure. Such hits would force us to respond not only with less resources but on Iran’s terms. All of Iran’s options for escalation increase in value in the lead up to the midterms because they put Trump in a major time crunch and a political optics nightmare.

Trump can’t control any of that—if he could, we wouldn’t be in this situation.

So, control the controllables. Trump can control whether or not our troops are in harm’s way, & Trump can control the domestic media narrative enough to get the MAGA loyalist voters he needs to win the midterms to show up at the polls.

Once our troops are out of the region, the kinetic war is essentially over. Iran will lose its incentive to hit ships in the SOH and we can quietly offer sanctions relief & the unfreezing of assets in exchange for returning the SOH to normal operations.

For this to happen, POTUS must also meaningfully restrain Israel. There’s a possibility that the Israelis will seek to strike Iran ahead of their own elections in order to maintain a state of endless war. This will inevitably get us further entangled—it must not happen.

Walking away is the least worst option and gives POTUS the most control of the situation. He should do so now, before Iran or Israel takes this option away from him.

I truly believed after the Russian Hoax and impeachments and the 34 fake felonies and the assassination attempts, that Trump was going to light this country up with arrests and prosecutions.

Boy, was I wrong.

I haven't ever felt this disappointed in my life.

Congress just got the Iran war damage report, and the numbers are staggering...

81 U.S. military aircraft destroyed or damaged, valued at $3.3 BILLION.

More than 40 MQ-9 Reaper drones, an F-35 fighter jet, and an E-3 Sentry surveillance aircraft, among others.

And that's just the aircraft.

The war has already cost at least $45 billion, *excluding* damage to U.S. military bases across the Middle East.

Congress is now questioning whether the Pentagon has fully disclosed all the losses, while warning that some of America's most valuable aircraft are aging, scarce, and nearly impossible to replace.

This war cost the U.S. a LOT more than just $$$

It has cost READINESS, and that bill comes due the next time America needs to go fight somewhere else...
