U.S President Donald Trump has invited Argentina’s right-wing president Javier Milei to join the Gaza Board of Peace as a founding member.

Milei accepts, thanking Trump and confirming Argentina’s participation, saying the board aims to promote lasting peace starting with Gaza. He adds that Argentina will ‘stand with countries confronting terrorism, defending life and property, and promoting peace and freedom’.



️BREAKING:

Israeli PM Netanyahu announces his REJECTION of the proposed administrative committee for Gaza. The Prime Minister’s Office says the announcement was not coordinated with him and contradicts Israeli policy.

Netanyahu’s office adds: “The announcement of Gaza’s governing council, subordinated to the peace conference, was not coordinated with Israel and contradicts its policy. The Prime Minister has instructed the Foreign Minister to raise the matter with the U.S. Secretary of State.”

The administrative committee reportedly met today with the head of Egyptian intelligence. At the same time, Trump extended invitations to the leaders of Egypt, Turkey, Argentina, and Canada to participate in the Peace Council.

Israeli political sources counter that the formation of the Executive Committee in Gaza was coordinated with Netanyahu, claiming he is protesting mainly to appear to object.

Opposition leader Yair Lapid responds: “Netanyahu is allowing Turkey and Qatar to enter Gaza, and Hams’s partners will manage the situation. This is not what our soldiers fought for over the past two years.”

️BREAKING: Trump is turning the Gaza Board of Peace into a business project:

According to Bloomberg, the Trump administration is proposing that countries seeking a permanent seat on the new Board of Peace must contribute at least $1B.

Under a draft charter, members would normally serve three year terms, but countries paying $1B in the first year would be exempt from term limits, effectively securing permanent membership.

Trump would chair the board, control invitations, approve decisions, and oversee the funds, with the body initially focused on Gaza.
