BREAKING: The White House publishes details of Trump’s plan to “end the war on Gaza” – main points:1. Ending the war and releasing detainees
➤ Immediate ceasefire and gradual Israeli withdrawal once both sides accept the plan.
➤ Within 72 hours of Israel’s acceptance, all Israeli detainees (alive or dead) are to be released.
➤ In return, Israel releases 250 prisoners sentenced to life and 1,700 detainees from Gaza arrested after October 7, 2023, including women and children.
2. Security and political situation in Gaza
➤ Gaza will be a demilitarized zone, free of “terrorism.”
➤ Hamas members who accept peaceful living and hand over their weapons are granted amnesty, while those wishing to leave are allowed safe passage.
➤ Gaza will be run in a transitional phase by a non-political Palestinian technocratic committee, under the supervision of a new international body called the “Peace Council,” chaired by Trump and supported by leaders such as Tony Blair.
3. Humanitarian aid and reconstruction
➤ Comprehensive humanitarian aid to enter immediately, including water, electricity, hospitals, bakeries, and opening of roads.
➤ Relief will be managed by the UN, the Red Cross/Red Crescent, and other international institutions, without interference from either side.
➤ Rafah crossing arrangements will follow the January 19, 2025 agreement.
4. Economic development
➤ A special economic plan for rebuilding Gaza and attracting international investment, overseen by experts who helped build “modern cities” in the Middle East.
➤ Establishment of a special economic zone with customs privileges and investment incentives.
➤ Goal: create jobs and hope for a better future for Gaza’s population.
