Regarding the accusations levied against Gregg Philips concerning his work in Haiti: An objective assessment.
Having operated in the African NGO space, Project Mediashare appears legit. Haitian-led, community-based, and 27 years of operation. You cannot front as a Haitian-led NGO, in Haiti, and operate for 27 years successfully if not Haitian-led, community-based.

The NGO space is, by and large, supported by western liberal humanitarians and take in grants and donations from anyone willing to fund thier projects, especially the biggest NGO donors like IMF, Soros, Clintons, and Gates foundations. Most of these NGO's are authentically pursuing noble cause, though many fail to sustain durable impact.
I have seen first-hand the amazing work these NGOs can achieve in Central Africa. As one example, I met with Mama Justine and the amazing women at her hidden Synergy compound used to care for eastern Congo's post-op rape survivors. As I learned while in-country, Hillary Clinton was the only other westerner to visit Mama Justine at this compound before I.
The life-saving surgery these women receive before moving to the Synergy compound to heal is performed by Dr. Mukwege at the Panzi Hospital. I cannot express enough what a light for his people this man truly is.

These are examples of successful NGO efforts that, at one point or another, have received funding from Funds organized by bad people. Most of these Funds led by bad people have to make real donations to real causes to create the optics needed to cloak the bad deals they are there to pursue.
After reading through the chronological articles, associated content, and detailed accusations against Gregg over his Haiti experience, his effort makes sense to me and appears authentic.
And if Gregg was, in fact, poisoned by radiation, losing eyesight, jaw bone integrity, and developing cancer as a result of administering 33 thousand x-rays on the ground in Haiti after the hurricane, he is a humanitarian hero. I say "if" because I wasn't there nor have I ever had the opportunity to speak directly with Gregg about his experience.
As for Gregg's affiliation with Blackwater/Prince, a dear friend of mine and former Navy SEAL led many men while contracted with Blackwater. He speaks well of Prince. So too does my dear friend and retired service-disabled Army Special Operations veteran. Most friends I have from the SOF world either speak well or indifferently of Erik. All I've spoken with about Erik in the past say he is not a black hat nor a nefarious actor. That's what I know about Erik behind the press.
In closing, I think Gregg's effort in Haiti is incredibly inspiring. I also think the data point accusations levied against him on this issue I've read to date are poorly constructed, incredibly assumptive, and ill-informed of the space.
