Russische vrouwen die geen kinderen willen, zullen niet verplicht zijn om een psycholoog te bezoeken wanneer ze een verwijzing krijgen. Dit heeft Sergej Leonov (LDPR), voorzitter van de commissie voor volksgezondheid van de Doema, aan TASS meegedeeld.
Eerder publiceerde het ministerie van Volksgezondheid van de Russische Federatie een document waarin staat dat Russische vrouwen die tijdens een reproductief onderzoek hebben aangegeven geen plannen te hebben om in de toekomst kinderen te krijgen, naar een psycholoog kunnen worden doorverwezen “met als doel bij haar een positieve houding ten opzichte van het krijgen van kinderen te bevorderen”.
