Gaza's Civil Defense spokesman said approximately 8,000 bodies remain trapped beneath the rubble of destroyed buildings, as rescue teams struggle to recover them due to severe equipment shortages.
He said dozens of excavators, bulldozers, and specialized equipment are urgently needed, calling on the international community to pressure for the entry of emergency supplies and additional rescue personnel.
