why target a football stadium? the answer is simpler than you imagine. Israel literally cannot bear the site of Muslims around it being anything but subservient, poor, and broken. Israelis cannot bear the site of modernity and sophistication in the region belonging to anyone but them.
I know it sounds far fetched, but we have generations of being on the receiving end of their hate and jealousy, and we've become experts on their psychology.
