⚡🇦🇪🇵🇸🇮🇱🇺🇸JUST IN:

The UAE is seeking to take over civilian administration of Gaza, with Israeli backing and coordination with the United States. Talks are ongoing and draft agreements have been exchanged, reportedly involving billions of dollars in investment.

Under the plan, the UAE would control all markets and trade, buy all goods entering Gaza from Israel, and use Israeli contractors. Aid distribution points would be turned into central logistics hubs, with goods passed to Gaza’s private sector.

The UAE would also deploy armed security forces to protect these hubs, alongside U.S. private security companies. Israeli officials say the UAE is offering to step in “with full force” to become the civilian patron of Gaza.

I can’t believe I need to do this but lets talk about the false claim of Dr. Hussam Abu Safiya “being Hamas”.

1- False Claim: He is a Colonel in Hamas.

Hamas is not a conventional army and does not operate standardized military ranks like “Colonel.” The allegation stems from a mistranslation of the Arabic word “نقيب,” which in this context refers to a professional syndicate title, not a military rank.

This error was promoted by Israeli commentator Eiten Fichberger, who stripped the term of its context and incorrectly linked it to Hamas. Even if the individual is affiliated with Palestinian Military Medical Services, medical personnel are protected under international humanitarian law and are not combatants unless they directly participate in hostilities. No such evidence exists. This claim relies on mistranslation, category error, and narrative inflation, not fact or law.

2- False Claim: Doctor Hussam is a Hamas member.

The claim that Dr. Hussam is a Hamas member is false. The image circulated by the New York Post shows a graduation ceremony for Palestinian Military Medical Services, not proof of Hamas affiliation.

The shoulder patch visible is the Eagle of Saladin, a secular national symbol deliberately avoided by Hamas, which uses distinct religious insignia.

Military medical personnel are typically non-combat medical staff, and under international humanitarian law they are protected persons unless they directly participate in hostilities. No such evidence exists here.

⚠️ Mislabeling medical professionals as militants relies on mistranslation, visual misinterpretation, and legal conflation. International humanitarian law draws clear distinctions between medical personnel and combatants, and those distinctions are not erased by uniforms, ceremonies, or unsubstantiated affiliations.

⚡🇵🇸JUST IN: Head of the National Committee for the Administration of Gaza Dr. Ali Abdul Hamid Shaath:

What we are witnessing in the Gaza Strip in terms of the loss of lives over the past days is painful and horrific. We extend our sincere condolences to the families who have lost their children. Our hearts are with every family that continues to live under the shadow of fear and uncertainty.

We call for an immediate commitment to a ceasefire. Our people in Gaza have paid an unbearable price, and they deserve a dignified life lived in calm and safety.

As preparations are underway for the National Committee to administer Gaza to begin its work on the ground, this requires preventing the occurrence of further tragic acts, protecting civilians, and contributing to the restoration of security and stability within the Gaza Strip.

The future path must be based on full respect for civilian life and on working to entrench the foundations of peace, stability, and prosperity for the Gaza Strip.

⚡🇵🇸🇪🇬🇮🇱BREAKING:

International forces and EU monitors have arrived at the Rafah Crossing as preparations begin to reopen it with Egyptian presence. The crossing is expected to open first to test procedures without travelers, with possible movement later today.

Israel is capping movement at 150 exits and 50 entries. Initially, 50 patients will be allowed to leave Gaza with escorts, totaling 150 people.

Returns remain disputed: Egypt demands equal numbers, while Israel pushes for fewer returnees, a move Egypt rejects as it is seen as a move that encourages displacement from the Strip.

⚡️BREAKING: After being released by Israel, 54 bodies and 66 boxes containing Palestinian human remains arrived at Al-Shifa Medical Complex in Gaza, handed over this evening via the Red Cross.

For the first time, the handover included not only intact bodies but mutilated remains, showing that the targeting did not stop at killing, but extended to the desecration of the human body even after death.

Everyone needs to reed what the director of the Ministry of health, Dr. Munir Al-Bursh, in Gaza shared:

“What law permits returning a human being as scattered remains?

A short while ago, 54 bodies of martyrs arrived at Al-Shifa Medical Complex, accompanied by 66 boxes containing human remains and body parts, released via the Red Cross.
This is not a passing news item, but a shocking moment that tests what remains of this world’s conscience.

What kind of scene is this, where we stand before sealed boxes, searching inside them for the features of our children?
How are we to restore names to bodies when we lack the necessary examination tools, and even the minimum medical and forensic capabilities that would allow us to identify them or document them in a manner befitting human dignity?

We are not dealing with numbers recorded in reports, but with fathers and mothers, sons and daughters, each with a name, a memory, a dream, and a home that still waits.
That they are returned as fragments, and that their bodies are handed over in boxes, is not merely a procedural violation, but a moral and humanitarian crime, and a blatant breach of all international laws and conventions ever established to protect human dignity, in life and in death.

On previous occasions, bodies were recovered bearing signs of mutilation and torture.
Today, the bodies are returned dismembered, as if the aim was not only to end life, but to erase identity, break memory, and humiliate the living before the dead.

We are not demanding the impossible, nor seeking any special privilege.
We demand a basic right:
that a human being be returned as a human being,
that the body be preserved,
that dignity be safeguarded,
and that the laws the world claims to uphold be respected.

For when these principles are trampled, it is not Gaza alone that is humiliated,
but all of humanity.”
