RELEASE THE PALESTINIAN HOSTAGES.
Israel’s mass detention campaign is now a core pillar of its genocide, pushing the number of Palestinian hostages to historic levels.
Before Oct. 7, 2023, Israel held about 5,250 Palestinians, and by September 2025 that number more than doubled to 11,040.
More than 19,300 were seized from the West Bank and Jerusalem, while over 12,000 in Gaza simply disappeared into what rights groups call “the Black Hole,” with only a small fraction officially recorded.
Children, women, and the sick are among the disappeared, including more than 450 children, more than 53 women, and more than 3,577 administrative detainees held without charge. Underground sites like Rekefet hold more than 2,662 Palestinians labeled “unlawful combatants,” cut off from lawyers and sunlight.
Even after limited releases in late 2025, the number of known Palestinian hostages remains around 9,500, showing a system built to remove, conceal, and erase an entire population.
