BREAKING: New proof of Hannibal Directive at Zikim Beach on October 7, 2023On May 10, Sabin Taasa whose son was killed at Zikim Beach told Kan 11:
“It seems like those murdered (at Zikim Beach) filmed something the IDF doesn’t want seen.”
All footage from victims’ phones was reportedly erased before being returned to their families.
New details suggest the IDF invoked the Hannibal Directive, ordering strikes on its own area to prevent captures, killing both Palestinian fighters and Israeli civilians.
Earlier, Alin Shlomo posted WhatsApp screenshots from her son Matan, who was hiding at Zikim Beach during the attack:

When asked later what “the army dropped bombs on us” meant, Alin replied on Facebook (Oct 7, 2025):
“The army gave a ‘Hannibal Directive’ order bombing the entire beach, including everyone in it, because of the number of infiltrating terrorists.”
