The Israeli occupation bombs inside the walls of Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital for the 15th time in a row… continuation of the systematic crime against the health system in the Gaza StripAs part of the ongoing aggression and genocidal war waged by the Israeli occupation army against our people in the Gaza Strip, its warplanes committed yet another crime by bombing a group of displaced civilians inside the walls of Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in central Gaza, where they had gone to receive treatment and were struck near the new Internal Medicine Department. This criminal attack caused severe injuries and extensive material damage, posed a direct threat to the lives of dozens of patients inside the hospital, and endangered the lives of more than 70 journalists and media workers, as the bombing struck just a few meters away from them while they were covering the ongoing events of genocide, aggression, and forced displacement.
This criminal targeting marks the 15th assault on the same hospital since the start of the genocidal war, in a systematic repetition that reflects the occupation’s clear determination to target the health system in the Gaza Strip, in blatant violation of international laws and conventions that prohibit attacks on medical facilities and protect civilians.

We strongly condemn this barbaric and ongoing assault on hospitals, which represents a flagrant violation of all international and humanitarian conventions.
We hold the Israeli occupation, together with the U.S. administration and all complicit states, fully responsible for these systematic crimes, which fall within a clear policy aimed at destroying the health infrastructure.
We reiterate our urgent call on the international community, the United Nations, and its humanitarian and human rights organizations to act immediately to halt the aggression and stop these crimes, which amount to war crimes and acts of genocide, and to provide urgent international protection for hospitals and their staff in the Gaza Strip.
