JUST IN: QATAR CALL STRIKE ON DOHA ‘STATE TERRORISM’

Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al‑Thani condemned the Israeli strike in Doha as an act of “state terrorism”, accusing Netanyahu of dragging the region “to a point of no return.”

He rejected claims that Qatar was given advance notice, describing the U.S. alert as “100% treacherous” and stating it came only ten minutes after the attack began. Qatar reserved its right to respond and signaled it would take all necessary legal and diplomatic steps

He added that the strike targeted negotiators working at the U.S.’s request and Israel used radar-undetectable weapons.

Meanwhile, Trump has instructed Secretary of State Marco Rubio to finalize a Defense Cooperation Agreement (DCA) with Qatar, signaling continued U.S. strategic interest despite the diplomatic blowback.

The DCA includes:
✅ U.S. troop and equipment deployment
✅ Joint military exercises
✅ Intelligence and security coordination
✅ Expanded use of Qatari infrastructure, including Al-Udeid Air Base, one of America’s largest military hubs in the region.

BREAKING: HAMAS OFFICIAL STATEMENT ON QATAR ATTACK - ISRAEL LOST

“The treacherous attempt by the Zionist occupation to assassinate the Hamas negotiation delegation in the Qatari capital, Doha, today is a heinous crime, a blatant aggression, and a flagrant violation of all international norms and laws.

This crime constitutes an attack on the sovereignty of the brotherly State of Qatar, which, along with brotherly Egypt, plays an important and responsible role in sponsoring mediation and efforts aimed at halting the aggression and reaching a ceasefire and prisoner exchange agreement. This once again reveals the criminal nature of the occupation and its desire to undermine any chances of reaching an agreement.

We confirm the enemy's failure to assassinate our brothers in the negotiating delegation. However, a number of our martyred brothers have ascended to the highest ranks of glory, including:
• Martyr Jihad Labad (Abu Bilal) – Director of Dr. Khalil Al-Hayya's Office
• Martyr Humam Al-Hayya (Abu Yahya) – Son of Dr. Khalil Al-Hayya
• Martyr Abdullah Abdul Wahid (Abu Khalil) – Companion
• Martyr Moamen Hassouna (Abu Omar) – Companion
• Martyr Ahmed Al-Mamluk (Abu Malik) – Companion

We also mourn the martyr Corporal Badr Saad Mohammed Al-Humaidi, a member of the Qatari Internal Security Forces (Lekhwiya).

We ask God to have mercy on them and to grant them eternal peace in Paradise.

Targeting the negotiating delegation, as they discussed US President Donald Trump's latest proposal, confirms beyond doubt that Netanyahu and his government do not want to reach any agreement and are deliberately seeking to thwart all opportunities and thwart international efforts, disregarding the lives of their prisoners held by the resistance, the sovereignty of states, or the security and stability of the region.

We hold the US administration jointly responsible with the occupation for this crime, due to its ongoing support for the aggression and crimes of the occupation against our people.

This crime has proven that the Zionist occupation is an imminent threat to the region and the world, and that Netanyahu is attempting to erase our national cause and the rights of our people, pushing them toward forced displacement, continuing with his criminal plans for genocide, ethnic cleansing, starvation, and displacement.

We, the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), call on the nations of the world, the United Nations, and all living forces and free people of conscience to condemn this criminal aggression against the sisterly State of Qatar and to take urgent action to pressure the occupation to halt its war of genocide and ethnic cleansing, achieve justice for our Palestinian people, and support their legitimate right to freedom and self-determination.

This cowardly assassination attempt will not change our clear positions and demands, which include: an immediate cessation of aggression against our people, a complete withdrawal of the occupation army from the Gaza Strip, a genuine prisoner exchange, and relief and reconstruction for our people.

We affirm that these terrorist crimes will not weaken the resolve of our movement and our leadership, nor will they deter us from adhering to our people's national rights and from continuing the path of resistance until the occupation ends and our independent Palestinian state is established with Jerusalem as its capital.”
