Letterlijk ALLE landen, m.u.v. Amerika, veroordelen de beslissing van Israel om Gaza te bezetten. Israel staat helemaal alleen. Engeland en Duitsland waren hun grootste bondgenoten aan deze kant van de oceaan, maar ook Engeland trekt zijn handen hier van terug en Duitsland, Europa's grootste wapenleverancier aan Israel, heeft nu zelfs een wapenembargo aangekondigd!

Wat ik zo raar vind. Is dat alle landen min of meer gelijktijdig hun steun aan Israël opzeggen. Deze tragedie is al maandenlang aan de gang en nu opeens ist genoeg voor iedereen. Dit lijkt wel gescript. Of zie ik spoken (complotten)?

Terwijl Netanyahu’s regering plannen smeedt voor een nog hardere aanval op Gaza, stroomden tienduizenden Israëliërs de straten van Tel Aviv op. Tussen de 60.000 en 100.000 mensen – afhankelijk van wie je het vraagt – maakten duidelijk dat ze deze waanzin niet langer accepteren. JUST IN:According to Israel’s channel 12, Palestinian-American mediator Bashara Bahbah, credited with advancing the release of Idan Alexander, has quit the U.S. negotiation team. He says Hamas was close to agreeing to a deal when Israel and the U.S. abandoned Doha talks too early, accusing U.S. envoy Steve Witkoff of ignoring mediation progress and siding with Netanyahu.
Bahbah will now negotiate independently, claiming he can secure more from Hamas this way. Some mediators and members of Israel’s negotiation team also believe Israel left the room too quickly and that the gaps were minor and bridgeable.
About two weeks ago, Bahbah had criticized Hamas for delaying its response, saying the stalling costs dozens of Palestinian lives daily. He saw no reason for the delay or for non-essential amendment requests, especially when the framework allowed 60 days of negotiations without casualties, during which all details could be discussed.
He urged an end to delays and bloodshed, and called for progress toward a deal that would enable all parties to negotiate under American guarantees, with the goal of reaching a permanent ceasefire.

Death Toll from Misguided Airdrops of Aid Rises to 23 Martyrs and 124 Injuries Since the Start of the Genocidal WarThe number of victims from misguided airdrops of aid since the start of the genocidal war on the Gaza Strip has risen to 23 martyrs and 124 injuries.
We affirm that the majority of these airdrops fall in areas under the control of the Israeli occupation or in neighborhoods forcibly evacuated, putting anyone who approaches them at risk of direct targeting and killing. In previous incidents, aid parcels dropped into the sea caused the drowning of 13 Palestinian civilians last year, while others have fallen among civilian gatherings, rendering these drops ineffective and dangerous to the lives of the starving.
We have repeatedly warned of the dangers of these inhumane methods and have consistently called for the safe and sufficient delivery of aid through land crossings, especially food, infant formula, medicines, and medical supplies.
We condemn the continuation of the Israeli occupation’s policy of “engineering starvation and chaos”, and hold it — along with the U.S. administration, states complicit in the genocide, and the international community — fully responsible. We call for urgent and serious action to open the crossings and ensure unrestricted aid flows.

️Hamas Leader Mahmoud Mardawi:Negotiations are the only way to reach an agreement. But Netanyahu continues to mislead and evade the requirements of serious negotiations by taking actions that fail the negotiation process time and again.
It seems that Netanyahu is unable to pass any agreement acceptable to both sides; due to the rejection of the right-wing faction in his government, he continues with a policy of deception and hiding behind a false arm. For the first time, Netanyahu alone will bear full responsibility for the failure of negotiations and the consequences of his policies and actions.

️JUST IN:According to Israel’s channel 12, Israel’s cabinet has approved a plan for the full occupation of Gaza City, requiring 250,000 reservists and the forced displacement of 800,000–1 million civilians to Al-Mawasi by October 7.
The Israeli army will encircle the city, set up concentration camps “humanitarian zones and food distribution points”, then remove residents before taking control, possibly extending the assault to central refugee camps. The army faces challenges, including protecting hostages, ensuring soldier safety, maintaining international legitimacy, and avoiding exhaustion through troop rotations.
Chief of Staff Zamir, who initially opposed full occupation, will now lead its implementation.
