Palestina - Israël

Another former captive (an active duty soldier – not a "hostage") says Israeli bombings were the greatest danger to her life in Gaza and she was nearly killed when an airstrike partially collapsed the house she was in.

Israel and the U.S. still maintain the farce that "military pressure" – a euphemism for mass murder – compels Hamas to release captives.

BREAKING: Despite public statements from the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF) announcing the start of operations, no food aid entered the Strip today, a humanitarian coordinator in central Gaza told Drop Site News.

“Today not a single aid truck entered Gaza—except for three trucks carrying chlorine for the desalination plant in western Deir al-Balah. As for food aid, no flour or food items entered today at all,” he said.

▪️GHF, for its part, stated that it had commenced operations on Monday and delivered truckloads of food to newly established distribution sites, from which it said supplies were distributed to Palestinians. While the group did not say how much food was delivered, it released a photo showing Palestinians in Gaza collecting boxes of aid.

▪️The Gaza humanitarian coordinator disputed this point, telling Drop Site:

“The claims that [Palestinian civilians] went there for food today are not true; GHF has not conducted any distribution, either directly or through intermediaries, up to this point.”

▪️This coordinator, who liaises with international aid organizations and represents thousands of families in Deir al-Balah, added that GHF’s “media statements and publicity far outweigh their actual presence on the ground.”

He also said most Palestinian transport companies have refused to work with the group, and that local firms have issued statements rejecting coordination.

“GHF has no local recognition and no cooperation from UN agencies,” he said. “They are struggling to find a practical foothold just to appear operational.”

According to Times of Israel, a small number of lesser-known organizations have agreed to partner with GHF so far, including the U.S.-based aid group Rahma Worldwide, whose logo appears on the boxes seen in Monday’s photos.

GHF has said more trucks are expected to arrive tomorrow and that the flow of aid will increase daily.

🚨IMPORTANT: The girl survived the flames.

Hanine Al-Wadiya, the sole survivor of her family in the Jarjawi School airstrike, is the girl whose video went viral showing her walking through fire and smoke. Her entire family was killed in the Israeli strike, and she is now suffering from severe burns across her body.

Note: Earlier today, I reported that the little girl walking through the flames had survived — and she did. However, I sourced journalist Anas, who identified her as Ward Jalal Al-Sheikh (5). After further checking, that turned out to be incorrect, so all inaccurate posts have been deleted.

Ward also survived the strike and lost her siblings and mother but she was not the girl in the video
