- Hamas target a house shortly after Israeli Chief of Staff, Herzi Halevi, left in the northern Gaza Strip.
- An anti-tank shell was fired at the house where Halevi was conducting a field assessment where the Israeli forces were carrying out a military operation in the northern Gaza Strip.
- The Israeli army at the time conceded that 4 soldiers from the 888 Multidimensional Unit were killed in the targeting of the house in the Jabalia camp.
