We strongly condemn the crime committed by the Israeli occupation forces in targeting residential towers and buildings in Gaza City, which contains 51,544 buildings, apartments, and residential towers. We categorically refute, point by point, the lies and false claims propagated by the Israeli occupation to justify its brutal aggression. The occupation falsely alleges the presence of military activities or “terrorist infrastructure” within these towers. We affirm, with the testimony of the residents themselves, that these towers are strictly monitored, entry is permitted exclusively for civilians, and the resistance does not operate from these residential towers in any form. They are completely free of any equipment, weapons, or fortifications, and all floors are exposed and visible.
The false allegations propagated by the occupation are merely part of a deliberate disinformation policy used to justify targeting civilians and critical infrastructure, terrorizing the population, and forcibly displacing them. This constitutes a systematic forced displacement that rises to the level of a crime against humanity under International Humanitarian Law, the Fourth Geneva Convention, and the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court.
The occupation claims it has taken “measures to minimize civilian harm,” yet field facts confirm that airstrikes on these towers are directly aimed at civilian buildings and thousands of densely populated tents housing displaced persons, without any legitimate military justification. This constitutes a blatant violation of the principles of distinction and proportionality under International Humanitarian Law and represents a fully constituted war crime.
We affirm that this crime is part of a systematic campaign targeting residential towers, homes, and civilian facilities, aimed at destroying Gaza’s social and economic infrastructure and imposing a new demographic reality through bombardment, fire, and massacres under the pretext of fabricated security claims.
In the face of this grave conspiracy, we praise the resilience of our great Palestinian people in resisting the ongoing Israeli aggression, and their extraordinary sacrifices in protecting their land and rights. The Palestinians have demonstrated unwavering determination to endure, despite the siege, destruction, and forced displacement, preserving their dignity and national honor.
We call on the international community, the United Nations, the International Criminal Court, and human rights organizations to break their silence, condemn this blatant crime, open an urgent international investigation, hold the occupation leadership and its military accountable, ensure the cessation of attacks on civilians and infrastructure, and protect the population from the Israeli occupation’s policy of killing and forced displacement.

It ordered more towers evacuated for strikes, the strikes are causing massive damage to telecom networks since these buildings held signal antennas. Gaza City is being leveled by U.S.-supplied bombs.

️JUST IN: Press Statement - Hamas:The Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) reaffirms its commitment and adherence to the agreement - it announced with the Palestinian factions - on the mediators' proposal for a ceasefire on August 18.
