Since the early morning hours until this moment, Jabalia al-Balad in northern Gaza has been subjected to a series of continuous airstrikes and heavy bombardment, targeting what remained of civilian homes and turning them into rubble that swallows their memories and dreams. The scene deepens the tragedy of the grieving and oppressed residents, pushing them into endless suffering under the fire of extermination and displacement.

⚡🇵🇸🇮🇱JUST IN: Israel is preparing to expand its offensive toward a full occupation of Gaza City.

Reserve soldiers have begun receiving Tzav 8 emergency call-ups, with tens of thousands more expected in the coming days. The IDF has also extended reservists’ service by an additional 40 days beyond the 70 they have already served.

Israel’s Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir will present the operation plans to Defense Minister Israel Katz, who is holding a meeting tonight with senior security officials, including the Deputy Chief of Staff and Shin Bet. The plan includes stages of evacuating civilians to concentration camps “humanitarian zones” for nearly two months, followed by encirclement, entry, and the occupation of Gaza City.

Israeli officials said negotiations will continue only “under fire” and that the IDF will halt operations only if a deal is signed. Zamir has warned that an invasion risks the lives of the captives, there is no humanitarian capacity for one million people, forces are worn out, and military equipment needs urgent maintenance.

Currently, IDF forces are already active on Gaza City’s outskirts and inside neighborhoods such as Zeitoun, Sabra, and Al-Furqan, where displacement has begun.

Sky News reports a major escalation in Gaza City, where thousands fled as Israeli attacks emptied tent camps and 30 shelters between 9–17 August. In that time, 132 buildings were destroyed in less than one square kilometer. Satellite images show 58 Israeli vehicles, including 17 bulldozers, with fresh tracks and several nearby buildings already levelled.

A leak from Israel’s Justice Ministry reveals over 2,100 ignored international legal requests, including U.S. extradition cases for child sex abuse suspects. It comes as Israel’s cyber chief Tom Artiom Alexandrovich was arrested in Las Vegas for soliciting a minor before fleeing home. The leak also names U.S. requests tied to Roman Polanski, NSO Group, and Black Cube.

⚡🇵🇸🇮🇱JUST IN:

A video from Sinjil, north of Ramallah, shows Israeli settlers using their children in attacks on Palestinian farmlands. The footage captures settlers vandalizing vineyards, abusing livestock, and destroying crops. Palestinians say such assaults are part of a systematic effort to displace them and seize their lands for settlement expansion.

⭕ Press Release No. (937) issued by the Government Media Office:

⛔ The number of martyred journalists rises to 239 following the announcement of the martyrdom of journalist Islam Al-Koumi

The number of journalists martyred has risen to (239) since the beginning of the genocidal war on the Gaza Strip, following the announcement of the martyrdom of our colleague:

🎙 Martyr Journalist / Islam Al-Koumi
Who worked as a news editor and content creator with several media platforms.

The Government Media Office strongly condemns, in the harshest terms, the systematic targeting, killing, and assassination of Palestinian journalists by the Israeli occupation. We call on the International Federation of Journalists, the Federation of Arab Journalists, and all journalist unions and professional bodies worldwide to condemn these systematic crimes against Palestinian journalists and media professionals in the Gaza Strip.

We hold the Israeli occupation, along with the U.S. administration and countries complicit in the genocidal crime—such as the United Kingdom, Germany, and France—fully responsible for committing these heinous atrocities.

We urge the international community, international organizations, and all journalism and media-related institutions worldwide to condemn these crimes, to work towards deterring the occupation, and to pursue its prosecution in international courts for its ongoing violations. We also demand that they exert serious and effective pressure to stop the genocide, protect journalists and media professionals in the Gaza Strip, and end the crime of killing and assassinating them.

We pray to Almighty God to grant mercy, acceptance, and paradise to all our martyred journalist colleagues, and patience and solace to their families and the Palestinian press community. We also wish a swift recovery to all wounded journalists.
