Israel bit off more than it could chew. The US already loudly pronounced that the reason for war was breakout capacity for a nuclear weapon. And yet it wasn't. They used the nuclear deal to have IAEA spy on iran on behalf of israel. Still this is what they sold to the public thus it would have to be addressed for there to be an off ramp. So the US hit a mountain top and Trump declared total obliteration on truth social. Fake nuke threat removed. They announced this to iran and iran made a condition that they will have to hit back and they did at an equally emptied base in Qatar, all while still pounding israel. The entire thing was to give israel a face saving exit strategy. Israel will use the pause to re arm and try again. They are still killing people in Gaza every day sometimes over 100 a day
