BREAKING:The Chief of the General Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces Maj. General Mousavi warned of imminent retaliatory strikes on Israel. He also says Israelis in Tel Aviv and Haifa should evacuate, as past strikes were just a warning, and warnings will not continue.
Full translation of his statement:
“In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
We send our salutations to the pure souls of the martyrs.
The Zionist regime, in an aggressive action under the guise of targeting military objectives, attacked the Iranian people — including women, children, and the elderly. Continuing its disregard for all recognized international laws, and following the killing of around 300 journalists in Gaza and Lebanon, it has now launched a barbaric assault on members of the media from the Islamic Republic of Iran’s national broadcasting (IRIB), aiming to silence the voice of truth.
The great nation of Iran, as demonstrated throughout history, will never bow to any act of aggression. In response to this barbaric action, not only will they stand firm, but they will ensure the Zionist regime pays the price for its criminal behavior. God willing, the martyrdom of our dear compatriots, scientists, and military commanders will only strengthen the resolve to carry out a punishing retaliation.
Until now, the Aerospace Force of the IRGC and the Air Defense Headquarters, with the support of other armed forces — the Army, IRGC, Police (Faraja), and the Ministry of Defense — have, by God’s grace, delivered severe blows to the enemy by focusing on critical and sensitive targets.
