To be realistic, Israel suffered heavy losses and failed to achieve its set goals neither regime change nor destroying Iran’s nuclear program.
This doesn’t mean that Iran didn’t sustain any damage, but it still managed to force Israel and the U.S. to the negotiating table. Israel simply cannot sustain a prolonged war with Iran at the pace of the past 12 days.
So why did all this start? Because Iran refused to stop enriching uranium.
And guess what? Iran still refuses. They haven’t backed down one bit, not during peace, and not even after Israel’s war.
