⚡🇫🇷🇵🇸BREAKING:

Police violently pushed back & assaulted pro-Palestinian protesters at Place de la République in Paris as they demanded the release of Rima Hassan and the Madleen Freedom Flotilla crew.

The protest continued into the night with no evacuation order, and some planned to camp there. The video was taken around 10:30 p.m by @enzorabouyy

⚡🇫🇷JUST IN:

Emmanuel Macron stated that the situation of the French nationals aboard the Madleen was “closely monitored by the Quai d’Orsay” and added, “We have, of course, conveyed all necessary messages to ensure consular protection is provided and that they can return to French soil.”

JUST IN: FRENCH POLITICIANS SAYS ISRAEL LIED AND ARE ILLEGALLY HOLDING FRENCH CITIZENS

“UPDATE: Contrary to Israeli propaganda, French nationals did not refuse to be repatriated to France.

They refused to sign a document in which they had to acknowledge having entered Israeli territory illegally, a condition set by Israel for their release.

This is scandalous, unacceptable, and doubly false: first, because the arrest took place in international waters. Second, because the waters off the Gaza Strip are not part of Israeli territory unless Israel recognizes its annexation of the Gaza Strip.

Mr. Macron, when will you make France respected?”

JUST IN: FRENCH POLITICIAN SAYS ISRAEL HAS NO RIGHT TO ILLEGALLY DETAIN FRENCH CITIZENS

“By what right has Netanyahu forcibly detained a French MP for 30 hours? By what right does he demand that the prisoners sign a document to admit that they entered Israeli territory illegally?! Rima rightly refused. Why did the French consulate wait so many hours to appear before the prisoners, unlike all of its colleagues on site, when the minister had said yesterday morning that France was demanding consular protection for its nationals?
We demand the unconditional release of the prisoners. We demand that France be respected.”

Reporter: “Why do you think so many countries and governments around the world are just ignoring what’s happening in Gaza?”

Greta Thunberg: “Because of racism.”

The Swedish activist spoke to reporters after landing in France, following her abduction by Israeli forces in international waters and subsequent detention.

⚡🇵🇸🇮🇱JUST IN: EU Parliment Member Rima Hassan @RimaHas refused to change out of her prison clothes and went directly, wearing them, to Place de la République in Paris upon her arrival at the airport:

“My family was expelled from this land in 1948, and we were never able to return. I managed to tear off a small branch from an olive tree before being taken away, and it is with me—and it will stay with me until Palestinian refugees can truly return home!”

In the second video she said:

“I have one word for Israel: the next boat is preparing to set sail. It will be named Handala, and there will be as many boats as we need to break the siege.”
