JUST IN: Hamas Statement welcoming the BRICS statement:We welcome the final statement of the BRICS Summit, especially its call for a ceasefire in Gaza, the withdrawal of the occupation, and its condemnation of violations of international humanitarian law, including the use of starvation as a weapon of war.
We call on BRICS countries and all nations worldwide to pressure the Israeli occupation government to comply with international law, end its aggression and genocide against innocent civilians in Gaza, and lift the criminal siege imposed on over 2.25 million people.
