JUST IN: SWEDEN DEMANDS lSRAEL LET AID INTO GAZA
Sweden’s Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson called out Israel for letting only a few aid trucks into Gaza while 2 million people face famine.
Kristersson:
"We have been incredibly clear about that, ourselves and together with many other European countries.
That pressure is now increasing, no doubt, and for very good reasons."
Right now, only a few hundred trucks are getting in.
Kristersson says this trickle of aid is not enough for anyone.
This comes after Hamas fighters attacked Israel in October, killing about 1,200 people and taking 251 hostages.
Israel’s response has left more than 53,900 Palestinians dead and Gaza’s buildings in pieces.
Kristersson says Europe is losing patience.
The message is clear: stop blocking food and let people eat.
