Charter: “All Members shall refrain in their international relations from the threat or use of force against the territorial integrity or political independence of any state” [Article 2(4)] This statement also violates Article 2(3) on peaceful settlement of disputes, and Article 1(1) on the purpose of the UN to maintain international peace.
