JUST IN:As Israeli PM Netanyahu spoke at the UN General Assembly in New York on Friday, 34 states gathered under the banner of the Hague Group to coordinate legal, diplomatic, and economic measures aimed at ending the Israeli genocide in Gaza.
The measures include commitments to:
➤ Prevent military and dual-use exports to Israel
➤ Refuse deliveries of Israeli weapons to ports
➤ Prevent ships carrying weapons to Israel from sailing under their national flag
➤ Review all public contracts to prevent public institutions and funds from supporting Israel’s illegal occupation
➤ Pursue justice for international crimes and support universal jurisdiction to hold perpetrators accountable for their actions
➤ Halt military purchases from Israel
➤ Divest public institutions from complicit companies
➤ Establish an energy embargo
