Farage wint zoals verwacht tussentijdse verkiezing, keert terug in Brits parlement

Reform UK-leider Nigel Farage heeft zoals verwacht de tussentijdse parlementsverkiezing in zijn kiesdistrict Clacton gewonnen. Daarmee krijgt hij zijn zetel in het Britse parlement terug. Hij trad ruim een maand geleden af vanwege ophef over zijn financiën en vroeg kiezers om hem opnieuw te steunen.

Much ado about nothing. No actual sanctions on Israel itself, no practical action whatsoever on Gaza, recognition of genocide kicked down the road, not even implementation of the symbolic sanctions against settlers for at least six months. At the same time harsh new sanctions on Iran and the resistance characterised as "vile terrorists". If Labour think this will pull the wool over the eyes of Muslims in this country they've got another think coming.
