BREAKING: Iran says the US has now accepted some of its seven conditions for reopening the Strait of Hormuz, but Iran considers the response insufficient.

"The Americans have responded to us, and we consider their response insufficient," Iran's SNSC Secretary Rezaei says.

He adds that Iran told the US "if you do not implement all these conditions, neither will the Strait of Hormuz open to you, nor will there be any negotiations," and that Trump has now accepted some of them.

Trump publicly rejected Iran's proposal on September 26 but has now privately accepted some of the conditions.
