BREAKING: Iran has directly rejected Donald Trump’s claim that Tehran is “begging” for a deal, with Majid Shakeri, adviser to Parliament Speaker Ghalibaf, stating: “Iran has made no request to negotiate with the United States.”
Trump claimed Sunday that the “failing Nation of Iran wants to make a deal, quickly and badly,” saying he would decide whether Washington would engage.
Iran also dismissed the claim as “wishful thinking” and reiterated that negotiations will not begin unless its demands are met: $300 billion in compensation, full sanctions relief, release of frozen assets, an end to the naval blockade, U.S. troop withdrawal from the region, and a comprehensive ceasefire covering Lebanon and Gaza.
