Trump Says “Very Little” Happening in Gaza as Israel Shoots Dead Pregnant Palestinian Woman and Unborn Child

President Donald Trump, claiming credit for the US-backed “ceasefire,” said during his visit to Ireland: “We put out the fire in Gaza. There is very little happening right now in Gaza.”
He added: “It’s been quite amazing. I think we have done a great job.”

The same day, pregnant Palestinian Iman Shalouf and her unborn child, Ayoub, died from wounds sustained when Israeli forces shot her south of Khan Younis three days earlier. Nine more Palestinians, including children, were wounded in a separate Israeli attack in Khan Younis today.

Gaza’s Health Ministry said hospitals received the bodies of 10 killed Palestinians and treated 56 wounded people over the past 48 hours. Since the October 11 ceasefire, Israeli forces have killed at least 1,369 Palestinians and wounded 4,627, while 831 bodies have been recovered. Other victims remain under rubble and on roads beyond rescuers’ reach.
