And honestly, there’s a darkly satisfying irony in watching the United States struggle to preserve the global influence it once treated as untouchable.
The self-proclaimed leader of the free world now looks increasingly like a country desperately trying to convince everyone that it still matters.

De raffinaderijen in “Israel” hebben een capaciteit van 104.000 vaten/barrels per dag.
65 miljard vaten zou dan genoeg zijn voor 1700 jaar. Lijkt me onwaarschijnlijk dat de genoemde hoeveelheid klopt.
De raffinaderijen in het havengebied van Rotterdam hebben een vele malen hogere capaciteit (1,1 miljoen vaten per dag) en daarbij zou dit al genoeg zijn voor meer dan 100 jaar.
