The neocons are using the nuclear threat in an attempt to shut down anyone pointing out how poorly the war is going & its effect on the American people because there is no actual justification for this foolish war.
Prior to the war the U.S. IC assessed Iran wasn’t developing a nuclear weapon & their enrichment program was obliterated in June by our airstrikes.
The Israelis were concerned that Trump was about to get a deal with Iran & launched an attack on Iran knowing the Iranians would respond by attacking us, thereby sucking us into the war.
Because the actual reason that we are in this war is so absurd and can’t be said out loud, the war’s advocates are falling back on the old “WMDs in the hands of the terrorists!” line.

Vorig jaar was ik hier volledig in meegegaan, nu lijdt het volgens mij geen twijfel dat hij knettergek is, evenals de mensen om hem heen. Maar zelfs al blijk je hier uiteindelijk gelijk in te hebben, dan nog heeft Trump zich schuldig gemaakt aan onverdedigbare oorlogsmisdaden, zowel op eigen bodem als op buitenlandse bodem. Ik ben sinds begin dit jaar definitief klaar met Trump.
