Trump 2026

$580,000,000 in oil futures moved 16 minutes before Trump announced a pause in Iran strikes.

Not after. Before.

The BBC just documented five separate instances of massive, suspiciously timed trades preceding Trump’s biggest market-moving announcements — oil futures, the tariff pause, Maduro’s capture, Iran ceasefire bets.

The platforms where anonymous accounts cashed in? Polymarket and Kalshi. Donald Trump Jr. sits on Polymarket’s advisory board and is a strategic advisor to Kalshi.

There’s even a law against this. The STOCK Act (2012) explicitly covers executive branch officials. Zero prosecutions in 14 years.

Oh, and the DOJ unit created after Watergate to prosecute exactly this kind of corruption? Trump cut it from 36 lawyers to 2 and stripped its authority to file new cases.

🚨 THIS IS INSANE.

Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick's sons could be making 3 to 5x returns on every dollar they spent buying tariff refund rights.

Cantor Fitzgerald, now run by Lutnick's sons Brandon and Kyle, was buying tariff refund claims from companies at 20 to 30 cents on the dollar.

The firm told clients it had "capacity to trade up to several hundred million" in these claims.

They confirmed at least one $10 million trade was already executed as of July 2025. They said they expected that number to "balloon in the coming weeks." That was 9 months ago.

Today those claims are worth 100 cents on the dollar. The refund portal is live, $166 billion in refunds are being processed.

If Cantor bought $100 million in refund rights at 25 cents on the dollar, they spent $25 million.

They now collect $100 million from the government. That is a $75 million profit. A 300% return.

If they scaled to "several hundred million" as they told clients they could, the profits run into the hundreds of millions.

Howard Lutnick was the architect of the tariff policy.

He pushed Trump to impose them. He fought against officials who wanted to limit them. Then he left Cantor Fitzgerald to his sons and transferred his equity into a trust benefiting them.

Tax free under government ethics rules. He received $360 million from the buyout.

His sons positioned the firm to profit from the exact policy their father built.

Their father publicly championed tariffs he knew could be struck down while his sons were buying refund claims betting they would be.

The truth is that Trump was completely bankrupt when he first got into political acting and he has used to the presidency to commit massive theft in plain site.

One of the biggest misconceptions among Trump supporters is that Trump’s presidency is some kind of charity mission endeavored by a benevolent billionaire.

They will say things like ‘he didn’t have to run for president because he is so fabulously rich and could just spend playing golf and counting his billions’...

This is completely false as @aaronday explains:

In her recent piece @pati_marins64 explains that there was a massive special forces operation near Isfahan, which failed massively and was turned into a "pilot rescue operation."

What I like to add to this is that it was a trap.

My Finnish-Iranian contacts told me that a traitor was apprehended by the IRGC, which then fed false information to the @WhiteHouse .

Just consider this. In a war, would you let everyone know where your most precious military asset is located?

Of course not, but @SecWar bought it.

The IRGC and Iranian military executed a perfect operation, which most likely led to dozens of killed U.S. and Israeli special forces and tens of POWs apprehended.

In their panic, @CENTCOM and @POTUS turned the fiasco into a "rescue operation," while in reality it was a special forces operation that went horribly wrong. They also do not tell you anything about it, because it would destroy the myth of U.S. military might alongside the presidency of @realDonaldTrump .

The only play the desperate U.S. administration has left is bullying (piracy) combined with 'psychological warfare' in the negotiations, which Patricia details in her recent analysis.

I am rather certain the Iranian negotiators, if they even attend, do not fall for it.
