They are bombing the hell of Iran not because it’s an intelligent plan… but because they have no plan.
War-game it.
The U.S. can’t open the strait of Hormuz, which is why they aren’t attempting it..
The threats to bomb Irans oil infrastructure are empty threats because all of the global oil supply would be affected… thus hurting the U.S. This is also why Russia and Iranian oil sanctions have been lifted..
They can’t nuke Iran because there is a risk Israel or someone else will be nuked in return.
They can’t do a mass ground invasion because most of their bases in the region have been destroyed, and they don’t have the units and logistics there in the first place.
They do have 5-10k troops and special operations there. They could try the insane strategy of taking Kharg Island, or taking the Uranium…
This would likely have large losses.. but also would it even change the situation of the war if successful? And even so what would you do with Kharg Island if you took it?
The reality is the longer the war goes on the more Iran benefits, and the more likely a global oil crisis mixed with an economic catastrophe is.
The U.S. is legitimately hoping to bomb Iran into submission and that the “Iranian people will rise up.” They have to hope for this because there is no other way for them to win.
Trumps nothingburger speech did not escalate or de-escalate… but intimated more of the same.
The Israelis obviously want escalation… but the U.S. leaders have to know how
Foolish it would be. Even so, the U.S. is so controlled by Jewish supremacist, that we may double down on this stupidity…
We are destroying America for Israel, and at the current rate we will destroy the global economy in the process…
